I graduated from East West College in Portland Oregon back in 2007 and received my Shiatsu Certification in 2019 from Zen Shiatsu located in Evanston IL.I incorporate my love for gardening and plant medicine by using oils, tea & smoke blends and custom tinctures into both Shiatsu and Massage Bodywork sessions.
All the plant medicine that is integrated is grown by myself and partner John in our backyard “Chariot Garden”. I am humbled and honored to be a facilitator while working with folks on their individual journey. I am always learning, growing and adapting on this path called life.
Zen Shiatsu is a Japanese form of Bodywork rooted in the five element theory of traditional Chinese medicine. Shiatsu can result in a very deep state of relaxation and balance that enables the body’s own healing powers to circulate. Zen Shiatsu helps your body with creating natural rhythms, balance and harmony to the channel pathways to open the flow of energy.

I get joy and inspiration by using plant medicine that I have the honor to observe, grow and communicate with from seed to harvest. I am drawn to folk medicine and integrating the Five Elements for energetics.
Gua Sha is a rubbing technique that is applied to the surface of the skin with a smooth tool to draw out stagnation and to stimulate the connective tissue. Cupping creates a vacuum to draw out stagnation and toxins and mobilizes the blood, Qi and lymph flow.
